Shipping and Delivery

Domestic

  • Delivery is done only in South Africa and not internationally
  • Free delivery for all orders of R 1200.00 and above
  • For orders less than R 1200.00, a delivery fee of R 100.00 will be charged

 Once your order is placed…

  • You will receive a confirmation email that your order has been placed. We will then add your order to our list, and begin processing your order. Depending on where you are in our list of orders, and how busy the studio is, we will approximate a lead time and inform you by email when you would most likely receive your order. 
  • Once we get to your order and finish processing it, we will arrange with our courier partner to deliver your purchased items to the place and person of your choice. Processing takes approximately 1 to 4 days to complete, depending on what time the order is placed as well as current availability of stock. As a slow fashion company, to be sustainable and limit waste, we work on a lean production method where stock is kept in low quantities. If 2 people order the same dress, we might have to make the dress for the second customer from scratch – however, we will prioritize the production in order to achieve the approximate 2-4 days processing time. If you specifically order a “Made To Order” garment, this will take approximately 1 to 2 weeks to process for ready-to-wear garments, and 1 to (4+) months for evening dresses, wedding dresses, etc. Lastly, processing times listed are approximate and may take longer than what is listed if we are experiencing high order volumes, etc.
  • Once the order is handed over to the courier, it takes on average 2-3 days for the courier to deliver to your door; this may be longer depending on your location. Delivery periods are calculated based on business days only. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not taken into account in calculating delivery periods. For, example, if you order something over the weekend or on a public holiday, the delivery period will only start running on the next business day.
  • We make every effort to ensure that the information supplied on the Website is accurate. Where delays and out of stock situations occur, every reasonable effort will be made to inform you, and arrange a suitable alternative.
  • If we are experiencing high order volumes, shipping may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment, you will be notified via email or telephone.
  • We are not responsible for parcels lost or damaged in transit, but will make every effort to help in this unlikely situation.
  • We are unable to accommodate address changes and rerouting of a parcel once the parcel has shipped. Fermare is not responsible for any missing parcels due to addresses incorrectly entered by the customer, but will make every effort to help in this unlikely situation.
  • If you made an error in your shipping address, please notify us immediately by email, Instagram, Whatsapp or Facebook – if you notify us of the address error in time, before the parcel has been shipped, we can amend the delivery address.
